MELODIE ARIAN

MELODIE ARIAN is an associate in the Southern California office of Thakur Law Firm. Her practice focuses on business litigation, employment and family law. She is a tenacious, diligent and attentive attorney equipped with a profound work ethic and sharp business acumen. Prior to joining Thakur Law Firm, Melodie served as a visiting professor of law at Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Turkey where she taught courses on international business transactions, contracts and a survey of U.S. Law.
Melodie earned her Juris Doctor from American University Washington, College of Law, where she served as an editor of the National Security Law Brief and Human Rights Brief and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles in Political Science and French.
While in law school, Melodie was selected to serve a judicial intern to the Honorable Laura Cordero for the D.C. Superior Court. She drafted court orders and mandates, reviewed motions and drafted memoranda for the staff attorneys; she also assisted the Judge in the Courtroom during trials and civil proceedings. Melodie was also selected to serve as a Marshall Brennan Fellow where she taught unprivileged high school students in Maryland about constitutional law and their rights under the Constitution. Melodie is licensed to practice law in California, New York and District of Columbia.
When she is not practicing law, Melodie enjoys traveling, paddle boarding and serving as a volunteer at Orangewood Foundation and Legal Aid Society of Orange County.
